Margento undertakes a pilot project in Nigeria

The use of mobile phones is on the rise around the world, especially so in the African continent. Lack of landlines combined with vast territories paved the way for mobile phones to became de-facto standard of communication.

Many initiatives are currently being implemented to provide mobile phone users with convenient and advanced services related to payment and distribution of digital goods and services.

Leading this is Margento, an innovator of mobile transactions solutions, by starting a project in the Africa’s most populated country, Nigeria. Relying on a close-knit cooperation with its local partner, the combined efforts will focus on providing solutions to local customers, focusing primarily on Mobile Airtime Recharge, with plans to expand to other segments as the project evolves.
